How the
course
works
This is a hands-on course. Forest Bathing is a state of mind, and we can’t learn that through knowledge, only through experience. So we jump into the actual practice from day one, together.
The course content is online - all you need is internet access and a basic level of English.
There is no timed schedule - each week a new lesson is released which you complete in your own time.
You practise the Forest Bathing activity in your neighbourhood.
You can then share your experience with your coursemates in our online community space.
One hour a week is all you need to make progress and gain benefits (there is no upper limit).
You are fully supported throughout by Jan, your course leader, and your fellow students.
The course guides you through a series of experiences that help you to unearth your own personal relationship with the natural world. You will discover for yourself your own unique way of connecting with nature. No one can say exactly how it will feel to you, but I can promise you it will be a fascinating journey!
Our community lives in a Private Facebook Group; all of the connection between us happens there. This gives you the freedom to share your feedback on your experiences with your fellow classmates from around the world. There you'll be able to read each other's responses, and learn from each other in the safety of a private group.
